Baltimore Marriott Waterfront will now cost lesser points as it drops from Category 8 to 7

Right now is a good time to apply for the Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Credit card as it will earn you 80,000 bonus points after you spend $3000 in the first three months from account opening. Also,  earn additional 7,500 bonus points when you add the first authorized user and make a purchase in the first 3 months from account opening. That is almost 90,000 points which can be used for FREE 12 nights or more at Tier 1 Hotels worldwide. The card does have an annual fees of $85 that is not waived.  Another HUGE benefit from the card is that you Enjoy 1 Free Night Stay at a Category 1-5 location every year after your account anniversary date which very well justifies the $85 annual fees.
