I have a hotel bill from my family trip to the Amalfi coast of Italy for approximately $2000. After getting 2 Redbirds, and 4 Serves I am well on my way to doing some major MS in the next couple of months on my Barclay Arrival Plus MC. A few days before the 120 day period (time you have to redeem points for travel credit once the travel related charge has been made). I should have 200K points ($100,000 in MS) by late September and will redeem the hotel bill for the full amount. Thank you for teaching me how to travel the world for pennies.

  3. Miles and points make the world accessible, especially when you are a family of 5 traveling around. I need to get started so my family can “get going” around the world! Especially since college is coming up in a couple years for the first child. Yikes! Oh yeah, and the kids love pizza!

MilesManiac blog and author pointed me to several useful tools & sites. Using 1 such tool, I am going to earn $1000 signup bonus just for opening a checking account and 50K Alaska miles to go along with it. Thanks MilesManiac :). I need to buy several air tickets from Sea-Hou and they almost always run in $300s. I’ll be able to buy most of these tickets free using new miles I’m raking up because of things I’m learning from MilesManiac..

    • That is very doable based on Miles and points you have. You can use 130k AA miles to fly roundtrip on Etihad Business Class or 90 K in economy. Qatar also fly to India for 90K roundtrip using AA miles. You will have to call American Airlines to book the tickets and request to waive off the $40 telephone booking fees as these tickets cannot be booked online.

    • There are lot of hotel options for Dubai hotel stays using IHG, SPG, Hyatt and Hilton. You can also use Citi Thank you points and UR points to book activities such as Desert safari, city tour and many more for free
