Credit Card with some incredible benefits

The deal has been floating around a while on underground travel blogs and discussed openly with the fear of it vanishing early. You still have until tomorrow to get on this offer by following these steps –

1) There is no online application for this offer. You would have to call 877-628-6737 and provide the offer code L081-994-816-5743. The application on phone could take up to 15 minutes so be prepared. If the phone rep is not extending the offer to you put the phone down and call again until you reach a friendly rep.

2) They Will ask you for an EIN as the card requires you to have a business but if you are a sole-proprietor or a very small business owner you may get by using your SSN. You may also apply for an EIN for each business you own by visiting this website

The card does come with an hefty annual fees of $450 which is not waived but the below benefits easily justify paying the annual fees –

  • $200 Airline Fee Reimbursement each calendar year– these can be used on airline gift cards as well. If you were going to book airfare anyway, this can be seen as a direct reduction of your annual fee since it’s money you’d spend anyway. This is a value of $400 considering you are able to use another $200 next year before annual fees is due.
  • Priority Pass Select Lounge membership – gets you access to tons of lounges around the world.
  • Access to Amex Centurion Lounges – some of the better lounges and number keeps growing
  • SPG Gold Status – Gets you room upgrades, Early check-in and access to special offers
  • Status and discounts with National, Avis, and Hertz.
  • Access to Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts Program – very useful in some instances where you’re paying for your hotel stays.
  • 150,000 American Express Membership Rewards points are worth $2,250 to me based on a value of 1.5 cents per point. I frequently transfer points to British Airways to take advantage of domestic & Caribbean flights (since the amount of miles required is based on distance). You can easily get a round-trip business flight to Europe for 100,000 points which otherwise could cost at least $4000.
