Have you ever waited out in the rain for a cab that never shows up?

With Uber you can order your ride from your phone.  A map pops up and you can watch the driver’s progress toward your location.  And now you can get $30 off your 1st ride in the US with Uber!

Uber is available in 54 countries and in most major US cities.  They’re also continuously adding new locations.

So while you might not live where Uber currently operates, you may soon be traveling somewhere that does

Uber is a new alternative to taxis.  Just download the app to your smartphone and order your ride right from the app.  You can even get a fare quote and estimated pickup time.

Uber has several different levels of service, which includes (depending upon your location):

  • UberX
  • UberTaxi
  • UberBlack
  • UberSUV
  • UberLux

I like Uber because payment is handled through your phone.  You don’t have to worry about tips, change, or a broken credit card machine.  Also, if you are traveling with a friend the app has a nice fare splitting feature.

Refer Your Friends and Get More Credits!

Once you sign-up for Uber you can refer your friends online or through your smartphone app.  And when they take their 1st ride, they will get a $30 discount and you will get a $30 credit!
